Nice/Bad Geetarz?

But if I listen to this too loud, it kinda starts to grate at my ears. Guess the guitar sound doesn't sit well for me for some reason, even though I did like the music - especially those atonal sounding parts. Drums are alright, but feel a bit weak in the mix. And that's that I guess.

Bubbly like bubble tea

Liking the bubbly synth thing, the drums not so much though - but generally I don't like the generic beats, and this is just about as generic as you can get. Maybe do version of the loop w/o the drums, and let others choose to their own beat (when they use the loop in their music)?

Nice arrangment

The performance seems to be pretty rockin' too - just too bad the recording quality is shit (I'm almost hearing as much distortion as I am the instruments). I doubt you can fix this just be tweaking the levels; unless you've completely fucked this mix, it's more likely that the original recordings of the instruments were really messed up. You'd really need to rerecording this to get it sounding presentable - I'd also add some another repeat or two with variations to get it at a better length, as the ending feels really abrupt in this one. Still, it sounds like you guys really have potential though - don't let it go waste.

Now this is nice

Nice job incorporating the horror techno theme into this piece, and then completely taking it to the next level. Really like the variations in each section, and the different kicks you've used to change the feel of the piece. My main complaint would be on the mixing side - this thing is way, way, way too loud, to the point where distortion is really noticable. It's not that it's even overcompressed or anything - literally, looking at the waveform it's like clipping like 90% of the time. I know you want to keep it intense, but you can't just mash the levels all the way up for everything - you gotta use dynamics processing (ie, compression) to boost your levels. But yeah, the music itself is pretty cool, really big improvements from the other one. Great job with this!

i know distortiono is my thing that i suck at i just don't know how to get rid of it dude its freaking hard

Did like the improvised feel of the melody

The faster tempo also sounds pretty fitting too. The piece has a sort of avante-garde jazz feel, especially with the almost spastic barrage of notes here and there. For some reason, everything was panned all the way to the left - for a bit I thought my headphones broke; not a pleasant feeling mind you. The fake sounding instruments kind of took away a bit from the feel of the piece, but overall there's a nice range of expression. It'd be cool to hear this performed live by the way.

Daft Punk on Acid

This does have a Daft Punkish feel, but with an atonal splash and more agressive execution. Sounds like it might not be a bit outside of mainstream appeal, but very well made (ie, nice balance, use of panning, effects, etc). I would've like to have seen a more contrasting second section to give this style some more reinforcement and more intentionality, but it's good as is. So yes - enjoy I did :).

Nice, solid loop

You've got a good and not too generic DnB sound with this loop, and even some effects and stuff here and there. I can see someone using this as a sample to great effect, but it's also interesting enough to be used as a stand-alone piece (if not overly looped, then it starts got get dizzying with the hypnotic bass hehe). Good stuff.

Bouncy and mysterious?

Really interesting combination of a really bouncing groove and mellow, mysterious sounding pad chords. I'm not sure if it works completely, but it doesn't abrase the ears. The drums sound pretty activated, but the pads probably need some sort of filter or dynamic (effects) added on (since you're basically sustaining chords for half-minute intervals. That would keep the whole mix consistently interesting I think. Not a bad effort though for "random...Boredom ftw" songs though ;).

What a trip!

This might be on the farther fringes of music, but it's a very well done and original sounding experience. I especially liked the sub-bass oscillations in the beginning - the gentle vibrations seem to resonant with your whole body. I'm also liking how you've kept the sounds fresh and moderated as well - nothing too repetitive or randomish. In general, the only thing I was disappoint with this was it's length - really impressive piece of work!

Haven't heard the original, but this be pretty ace

I like the theme in this piece, and the amen break sounds pretty fitting over the track so far (I like how you used a slowed down version of it before 1:00 - something you should definitely exploit moreso later). Right now the only off sounding part is the sudden transition into the soli section for the strings - it sounds like something you might do much later in the piece, but this early on it can be disorienting (since you haven't really had much time to established the main theme). That said, if you can get a good transition into that part, I would expand that section (maybe with slightly different drum loop) some more so you don't go back to the main section too quickly.

But this is shaping up to be pretty nice piece - I hope you have much success the the final cut. Peace!
