Dig the dirty feel
Very nice mix of instruments and tunes (my favorites are probably the catchy lead in the beginning, and the 5thy one that comes later on). Drums feel a bit too boomy to me though - I think harder/edgier sounding drums would probably work better for this piece. Hard to imagine this being just a test of instruments - great job!

softer piano
I think the piano part would've sounded a bit better if you made it softer (ie, less velocity), with a more subtle, brooding feel. And if you added some crescendos and descrendos in the wind instruments on that of that, it would've been just about perfect for the mood. But as it is it's still quite a good piece. Good job.
You're right. I'll update it if I get time. I just left everything at default velocity. I guess i wasn't really thinking about it. Thanks for the feedback
Nice melody
I like the piano melody in this, and the trance treatment sounds pretty good too. I didn't like the piano chord though - it sounded kind of too plunky and dull in an otherwise uplifting piece.
Love the chords
This piece comes together really well for a cross-genre number. Really love the jazzy chords, and the little Latin bit later on was a nice surprise as well. I think the vocals could use a little lift, while the bass a little drop, but that's just my preference. The performance was really nice too for the most part. But overall, this is a really awesome piece- I'm definitely looking forward to more of your stuff!
Good piece, messy sound
I like the overall sound and everything, but the mix feels not very well done. The vocals sound quiet to the point that I thought they were just a background effect, and the other instruments sound like they need to be more seperated, and probably EQ'ed too (especially the drums). Nice to see an original performance though, good job.

Don't remember the SoM soundtrack really, but this piece really kicks ass!
Nice strings
I really liked the intro part, but it seems like the piece goes in a completely different direction afterwards (and the strings don't come back until near the end). Don't really care for the cliched gunshots, especially since there's no vocal track to keep relevance. Drums are a bit light - I think maybe a deep kick drum might make it sound better. I really liked the part the piano comes in too, sort of at a climax of the piece.
Good sounds
Nice tune, though the echo thing sounds a bit fake. Agree with below about turntabling this junk - the beat's a bit vanilla right now. Good stuff though.

I actually know the author of this piece, and I think he probably wouldn't be too pleased of someone just randomly posting his stuff. You really should ask the artist himself if he's willing to share his stuff at NG beforehand.
Cool piece
The first minute or so made me think it was going to be an ambient piece or something, but scale up the pack soon afterwards. I enjoyed the overall feel of this piece, though there are a few tunes that the lead synths play that feel kind of out of tune or awkwardish. But maybe it's just me. Anyways, very cool piece.
